Q : In which area is the service available ?
R : The service is available in the Paris area.
Q : What is the starting age for my kid to take a Kidcab ?
R : Your kid is eligible to take a Kidcab from 3 years old.
Q : Is there a minimum number of rides ?
R : There is no minimum number of rides, but for a one-time ride, there is no meeting between the family and the driver.
Q : How much time before the trip do I need to book a ride ?
R : We need to be informed of your trip 3 working days before a one-time trip, or one week for a regular ride.
Q : What is the minimum price for a ride ?
R : The minimum price for an individual ride is 30€, and 15€ for a shared ride.
Q : How are the drivers recruited ?
R : All drivers that we recruit must have a transport license, a clean criminal record and a First Aid certificate. They also have to be motivated, professional and able to work with kids. Some of them also already have experience with children. Our drivers are always punctual in order to provide you with the best service.
Q : How can I be sure that someone will take care of my kid when they reach the destination ?
R : Our drivers have to drive the kids safely to their destination, but they also have to make sure that there is an adult in charge of them upon arrival.
Q : Is it possible to have the same driver ?
R : Our aim is to install a relationship of trust between you, your kid(s), the driver and Kidcab. This is why, for a regular ride, we organize a meeting with the driver(s) who will take care of your children. We also want the driver to be the same all year, but there will be a maximum of 2-3 consistent drivers if this is not possible.
Q : How can we follow the progress of the trip ?
R : We send you a text when the kids enter the car, and another one when the kids arrive at their destination.
Q : How do we pay you ?
R : For a one-time ride, we send you a bill that you will need to pay before the ride. If you have not paid, the ride cannot be carried out.
For regular rides, we send you the bill by email at the beginning of each month with a list of rides to be carried out for that month, as well as a link to pay online. Similar to the one-time ride, the rides cannot be carried out if you have not paid.
Payment is done through our secure partner Stripe.
Q : What happens if I cancel a ride ?
R : If the cancellation happens more than 24h before the ride, we refund the whole amount, if the cancellation happens between 6h and 24h before the ride, we refund half of the amount and if the cancellation happens less than 6h before the ride, no refund will be given.
Q : What is the maximum number of kids we can have in the cars ?
R : We can allow up to 4 kids in some cars and up to 7 kids in others.
